Message from the organizer

　　Concluded in on Sept, 7, 2007, the 5th Shanghai International Stainless Steel Expo, is a great success: there were 115 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, 3,012㎡ of net floor space (equivalent to 335 booths), 7,000㎡ gross floor space, and 7,191 visitors, including 370 overseas visitors. Since its debut in 1999, STEXPO has been increasingly growing, either in scale or size. In the previous two expos, the growth of the size surpassed over 33%. Hereby, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to our exhibitors. Without your support and participation, STEXPO would definitely not become the most influential and largest stainless steel exposition in China. What we feel regretful for the STEXPO 2007 is that more than 20 enterprises did not acquire the booth and that some individual exhibitors had to reduce the floor space, due to the limited space of the exhibition center. The shortfall was approximately 500㎡ (net).

Shanghai New International Expo Center

　　We believe that this regret will be avoided in the coming new expo, the 6th Shanghai International Stainless Steel Expo, which is scheduled to be opened on Sept. 1-3, 2009, at Shanghai New International Expo Center. The preparation for STEXPO 2009 will be started soon. We are confident that, with our effort and your participation, and of course, the burgeoning growth of stainless steel industry in China, STEXPO 2009 will come into a new height of success.
